Creative director, Daniel Lee, has tapped influential black figures including Skepta, Asap Rocky, Slowthai, Keseah Aboah and more for the Italian Fashion House’s ‘minimalism meets maximalism’ pre – Fall 2021 collection.
The new collection boasts exceptional tailoring — herringbone wool overcoats, trim trousers and well-fitted classic black and white suits. Rainbow-hued velour lounge suits and eye-catching materials consisting of a turquoise feathered suit and bedazzled suits are also demonstrated throughout the co-ed collection.
Notable accessories include knee-high clog boots in yellow and green, chunky bangles, rings and the latest iterations of its signature woven bags and clutches.
The stylized lookbook photographed by Tyrone Lebone, captures the bold creatives that embody Lee’s carefree yet bold collection.
Managing to flip convention on its head yet again, Lee offers up impeccable – almost austere – tailoring, with a twist. A boardroom-ready suit is now offered in dark teal velvet, while a coat dress with boxy shoulders is cinched at the waist with a bright green extra-wide belt that coils around the body like a snake. Be on the look out as we are planning on adding new pieces from Bottega soon!
